McHenry Avenue is down to one lane until further notice between Fyffe Avenue and Westwood Northern Boulevard.
Access onto McHenry Avenue also is blocked at Saffer Street.
At least one basement flooded in the 3300 block of McHenry, Cincinnati dispatchers confirm.
A passerby reported the water main break several hours ago, they said.
McHenry Avenue remained open overnight.
Then, crews were called to the area again about 6 a.m.

They said the road was collapsing.
A Greater Cincinnati Water Works supervisor was alerted and immediately sent workers scrambling to the scene, dispatchers confirm.
