Have you always dreamed of protecting Earth from aliens? NASA has the job for you: Planetary Protection Officer.

Equipped with a secret security clearance, these officers are tasked with preventing any alien microbes from spreading to Earth and to avoid contaminating other alien worlds.

The position is listed on the federal government’s hiring and employment website.

The ultimate objective of planetary protection is to support the scientific study of chemical evolution and the origins of life in the solar system, according to NASA.

To qualify for the job, candidates must have advanced knowledge of Planetary Protection, demonstrated experience planning or executing space programs of national significance, and demonstrated skills in diplomacy during extremely difficult and complex multilateral discussion, the description states.

With a job with that much responsibility, it’s not surprising the job comes with a six-figure pay, $124,406 to $187,000 annually.

NASA is accepting applications at through August 14.
