Djiby played the hero again scoring the only goal of the game as FC Cincinnati defeated Miami FC 1-0 to continue its unprecedented run in the U.S. Open Cup, advancing to the semifinals.
Djiby has scored all four goals for FCC in Cup play and now has 15 goals on the season, a team-high. Mitch Hildebrandt, with another clean sheet, has not allowed a single goal in Cup play.
With the win, FCC will host the New York Red Bulls of the MLS on August 15, at Nippert Stadium for a semifinal showdown at 8 p.m.
FC Cincinnati is the only non-MLS team remaining of the four teams left in Cup play.
