Discovery Channel to air re-creation of Flight 93 attacks, crash
The Discovery Channel is reportedly planning to air a recreation of the Nine-Eleven hijacking of United Airlines Flight 93.
The forty passengers and crew members aboard the plane were killed when it crashed in southern Pennsylvania. Passengers aboard that flight are credited with fighting with the terrorists and forcing the plane down before it could hit a target in Washington.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports the show will air on September Eleventh of this year. It says the program will be called "The Flight That Fought Back" and will include about 45 minutes of re-created scenes.
