GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Green Township police confirmed Monday they are investigating two potential shooting incidents on Interstate 74.

Two drivers reported suspicious objects hitting their vehicles  on eastbound I-74.

One incident was reported Sunday; the other was reported Monday by a motorist who said it occurred back on July 22, according to police records released Monday after FOX19 NOW asked township police if they had any vehicle shooting reports.

On Sunday, a man told police a bullet may have hit his windshield around 8 a.m.

The object cracked the glass but did not penetrate the window, police said.

The driver believes a shot was fired from the north side of the highway or along West Fork Road, according to an incident report.

Officers haven’t confirmed if the object was a bullet.

A second driver came forward Monday to report a possible shots fired incident last month.

A teenager said he was driving eastbound when he heard what sounded like a rock hitting his vehicle.

Police said the object in-question appears to be a bullet.

No injuries were reported in either incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Green Township police: 574-0007 or Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
