FRANKLIN CO., OH (FOX19) - Newly released dash cam video from the Ohio State Highway Patrol shows the dramatic ending to a police chase that spanned two counties on June 27.

Jail records show James Perry, 25, was arrested at the intersection where the 20-minute police pursuit came to an end.

The newly released video shows the pursuit stretch across Butler and Warren counties before coming to an end at the corner of OH-73 and Dixie Highway.

After the pickup runs over stop sticks the tires begin to fall apart and the driver loses control off the side of the road. The truck first hits a concrete wall, hops a curb and crashes into a traffic sign before an OSHP cruiser pins one of the doors of the vehicle shut.

James Perry initially faced charges of failure to comply with order or signal of police, receiving stolen property, tampering with evidence, unauthorized use of a vehicle, drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle impaired, driving under FRA suspension, reckless operation of vehicle and speeding.

Perry faced a similar set of charges in March of 2017 and remains detained in the Warren County Jail.
