CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A second suspect faces charges in a knife attack at the Cincinnati Zoo last month.

Malik Abdul Rauf, 40, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, and another man arrested in the July 29 slashing, Mark Lanham, 22, of Georgetown, Kentucky, are both held without bond on felonious assault charges at the Hamilton County jail.

A man was slashed across the neck when an argument turned violent between three men near the gift shop, Cincinnati police say.

The victim was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police say Abdul Rauf and Lanham were seen exiting the zoo after the attack.

The incident was "contained in a very small area of the Zoo and it remained open," officials said in a statement at the time.
