A Cincinnati man died in a crash that overturned his semi tractor trailer and closed eastbound Interstate 74 for several hours Thursday, police said.
Charlie Strunk, 46, was driving in the eastbound lanes around 3:40 p.m. when he lost control of his truck and it ran off the right side of the highway, according to police.
Strunk was trapped inside his vehicle, which did not have a trailer attached.
He died from his injuries by the time first responders arrived, police said.
The fatal crash closed the eastbound lanes for about five hours. It reopened about 8 p.m.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
