FRANKLIN COUNTY, IN (FOX19) - A 14-year-old girl with autism that was reported missing Thursday afternoon was found safe early Saturday morning, according to Franklin County police.
Emily Pennington was found around 1 a.m. Saturday sitting alongside Whitewater River two miles from where she initially went missing. She was transported to Children's Hospital in Cincinnati was a precaution.
Pennington last seen being dropped off at home by the school bus around 4 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities say there were five police departments and numerous volunteers involved in the search.
