An Over-the-Rhine man is scheduled to face a judge Monday on domestic-related charges he abducted a woman from a Corryville business and viciously attacked her over the weekend.

Donovan Clark, 35, is held without bond at the Hamilton County jail on charges of abduction and domestic violence.

According to court records, he grabbed the woman "forcefully" and removed her from Dogtown Cincinnati, a daycare for pets on Burnet Avenue, about 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

Clark also bit the woman on the right leg and punched the left side of her face while trying to force her into a vehicle, Cincinnati police wrote in a criminal complaint.

The woman suffered visible injuries as she was forced into a Toyota Tundra, police said on Sunday.

Officers caught up with Clark on Queen City Avenue in South Fairmount and took him into custody.

A business captured video footage of the offense, records show.

Police have filed a motion for a temporary protection order against Clark on the victim's behalf.

The judge is expected to decide whether to grant it when Clark goes to court Monday.
