CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Work crews will be starting today, Monday, August 14 to continue the demolition of the Central Parkway Pedestrian Bridge, which will require the road to be closed in the area for safety reasons.
The bike lane and sidewalks will be blocked and access to the Town Center Garage will remain off limits.
Central Parkway will be closed to all traffic between 12th and 14th streets, this is expect to be completed by approximately Friday, August 25.
The detours for the northbound Central Parkway traffic will be detoured on 12th Street to Elm Street to Liberty Street.
Central Avenue will be converted temporarily from one-way to two-way street for the southbound Central Parkway traffic between 12th, Ezzard Charles Drive and Liberty.
Central Avenue runs behind Music Hall parallel with Central Parkway. There will be no parking on Central Avenue during the demolition phase.
