WARREN COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

On Monday night, a 3-year-old boxer mix is in a loving home after a long journey and residency at the Humane Association of Warren County.

"She started out in a really rough place and was very difficult to handle. We stuck with her and started her on behavior modification programs," Shelter and Animal Care Manager Joanne Hurley said. "So for two long years we have just continued to love and train her."

About two weeks ago, the humane association had T-shirts made with her picture and the phrase "Ask me about Inga." Staff at the association and the vets wore them to help spread the word of the lovable four-legged friend.

Inga is now a furry family member to a welcoming home in Columbus.
