CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Bengals terminated the contract of veteran defensive tackle Brandon Thompson and waived rookie running back Stanley “Boom” Williams on Sunday.

Williams, a UK product, had signed with the Bengals as a college free agent. He rushed for 1,170 yards and 7 touchdowns last season at Kentucky.

Thompson, a sixth-year player, played in 39 games with seven starts for the Bengals since he was drafted out of Clemson in 2012.
