First responders get free admission to Kings Island this weekend

MASON, OH (AP) -

Firefighters and police officers will get free admission into Kings Island next weekend. 

On August 25 to 27, active police and firefighters can get into the park for free and snag deals on tickets. The offer allows first responders to purchase additional tickets for $32 for up to six family members. 

Fire and police personnel who qualify include: firefighters, EMTs, police officers, state troopers, border patrol agents, investigators, evidence technicians, firearms examiners, crime lab technicians, 911 dispatchers, correction officers, handwriting examiners, intelligence analysts and investigative assistants. 

Kings Island is open August 25 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., August 26 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and August 27 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
