CLEARCREEK TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A man is behind bars accused of stealing and selling grain.

Robert Hull III, 38, was arrested Tuesday following a three month investigation.

Clearcreek Township Police said they were contacted by Mike Farm Enterprises, of Lytle 5 Points Road, on June 15, about a possible theft by an employee.

Officials said officers found that Hull stole large quantities of grain from his employer between November of 2014 and May of 2017.

He's then accused of selling the grain to local merchants, receiving more than $215,000.

Investigators believe he used the money to buy a vehicle, lawn equipment, firearms and tools.

Hull is currently being held in the Warren County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
