CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Cincinnati Bengals are working to gather more information after reports of drug charges involving wide receiver Tyler Boyd.

Boyd, who played college football for the University of Pittsburgh, faces drug charges stemming from a July crash, according to WPXI. The Pittsburgh news outlet reports police found an empty car, registered to Boyd, crashed into a guard rail with bottles of alcohol and vape pens inside.

Boyd tweeted Thursday he had nothing to do with the crash. He said it was just his car. (He has since deleted the tweet.)
