A Tri-State pediatrician has been indicted on charges of killing her mother Friday afternoon.
Police say Dr. Malar Balasubramanian is accused in the death of her mother Saroja Balasubramanian. If convicted she could face up to 20 years to life in prison.
According to court records Dr. Balasubramanian, 28, is accused of killing her mother on the morning of July 27.
Balasubramanian was found dead in the backseat of a car and although the Hamilton county coroner's office has not released an official cause of death. They say she had been dead for two days.
Court records state that Dr. Balasubramanian was later found half dressed laying under a tree in Blue Ash Wednesday afternoon.
Court records also stated that the defendant later confessed and gave details of her actions. According to the court records stated that Dr. Balasubramanian described her mother as abusive physically and emotionally.
Balasubramanian was an evening supervisor at Wormick Co. in Blue Ash.
FOX19 also learned that police are investigating e-mail's found on the victim's home computer.
