A woman was hit by a Metro bus in downtown Cincinnati Thursday night, according to Cincinnati Police.
It happened Thursday near Government Square and Main Street around 6:45 p.m.
The pedestrian's leg was trapped under the front tire, according to fire officials. Heavy rescue crews freed the woman after 20 minutes.
She was "alert and oriented," authorities said.
Officials transported her to University of Cincinnati Medical Center where she is in serious condition, fire officials report.
