Investgators from OSHA were on the scene Monday afternoon where a construction worker was killed in a trench collapse.
Timothy Roark, of Brooksville, Kentucky, was working on a sewer project in the Cincinnati suburb of Deer Park. He has killed after a 30- foot trench partially collapsed on him Sunday.
Family members say Roak, 28, had only worked for the construction company for about three weeks. The accident happened around 9:30 Sunday morning.
Officials say the man was buried up to his chest in dirt and mud and was dead by the time rescuers got to him. It took the Hamilton County Urban Search and Rescue team more than four hours to get him out of the trench.
Federal job safety officials are investigating the death.
