3 cups sugar
4 large eggs
2/3 cup canola oil
2 cups cooked pumpkin
2/3 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking soda
3-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup raisins, optional
Set oven at 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, eggs, oil, pumpkin and water, mix well. Gradually add the spices and flour, continue mixing until well blended. Pour into 2 prepared loaf pans, and bake for 1 hour, or until tested done.
