ANDERSON TWP, OH (FOX19) - Another one of the three Forest Hills School District employees on leave amid a sexting scandal has resigned.
Rick Toepfer, the district's treasurer, quit Monday, according to his one-sentence resignation letter.
A district spokeswoman released it Wednesday at FOX19 NOW's request.
Toepfer and the district's director of business operations, Ray Johnson, were accused of having an affair with Administrative Assistant Beth Brulport and sent sexually explicit messages on school accounts.
She remains on paid leave pending the results of an investigation.
School district spokeswoman Erika Daggett has said there was no record of any financial wrongdoing and nothing criminal had taken place.
District officials provided documents from the investigation.
They include text messages on district property phones and email exchanges using their work email accounts.
Several conversations took place during work hours, records show.
