Police: Shots fired during road rage incident

WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Police confirmed they were investigating a road rage incident on Wednesday.

It happened in the area of Glenway Avenue and Muddy Creek Road around 12 p.m.

The intersection was closed but has since reopened.

Officials at the scene said a woman was rear-ended, then exited her car and fired shots at the striking vehicle.

The driver of that car then took off. Police are still looking for that driver and vehicle.

The woman who fired the shots is in custody.

Police believe a woman and a child were in the back of the alleged shooter's vehicle at the time of the incident.

Our Lady of Lourdes School was on lockdown as police investigated.
