CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - When is it appropriate to begin listening to Christmas music?

Some might say Black Friday, others might say Dec. 1. But Cincinnati's STAR 93.3 began playing holiday tunes Wednesday, Nov. 1, just hours after people were taking off their Halloween costumes.

The Christian radio station says their listeners start asking about Christmas programming as early as July.

"It's become a tradition for many families to begin listening and even decorating for Christmas earlier than usual because the music puts them in the holiday spirit," a station worker said.

Programming will be exclusively holiday music, 24/7 until the end of the season.

Like it or not, interested Tri-State residents can now get their fix (even streaming online).
