DAYTON, OH (FOX19) - A Dayton man was arrested after stealing an ambulance in October and leading police on a one mile pursuit.
According to WDTN, the ambulance had two people inside of it when 44-year-old Jeffrey Brown took off with it while the Dayton Fire Department rescue squad was responding to a call on Salem Avenue. The keys were left in the ignition of the vehicle.
Police were able to stop the ambulance after chasing it down the street.
Jeffrey was caught and arrested.
There is no word on why he stole the ambulance.
Jeffrey is in the Montgomery County Jail facing robbery and kidnapping charges.
