OAKLEY, OH (FOX19) - One person was displaced after a flames tore through a home on Saturday evening.
Crews responded to the house on Sonoma Court around 7:30 p.m.
Firefighters said they attempted to find and extinguish the fire using "offensive firefighting operations," but had to evacuate the building once the first floor collapsed into the basement within five minutes of first responders arriving on scene.
A second alarm was sounded, calling another station to the scene, when low water pressure forced the firefighters to draw from an alternate main in the area.
No working smoke alarms were found inside the home, according to firefighters.
The cause remains undetermined.
Damage is estimated at $300,000.
