CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - There are plenty of ways you can give back this holiday season to help make it special for someone else.
The Salvation Army kicked off its Red Kettle Campaign on Friday. Funding goes to sheltering women and children, after-school programs, and anti-human trafficking efforts in the Tri-State.
"What we give through the kettle campaign stays local to help people not only at Christmas but throughout the year," said Maj. Larry Ashcraft, with the Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army says it's looking for bell ringers to volunteer for two hour shifts on Saturdays from now until Christmas. Click or tap here for more information.
The theme of this year's campaign is "Love Your Neighbor."
