WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) - Investigators were working to determine the cause of a deadly crash Sunday.
It happened around 1 a.m. in the 2000 block of Harrison Avenue in Westwood.
Firefighters arrived to find a crash involving a pickup truck and mid-sized sedan with two people trapped inside.
Cincinnati Police said it appears the car lost control, traveling crossing the double yellow line and striking the pickup truck.
Officials said they extricated one patient from the car but rescue efforts were unsuccessful and the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second person in the car was not removed due to injuries and also pronounced dead.
The driver of the truck was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with minor injuries. He is listed in fair condition.
The names of those involved have not yet been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
