CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati and several suburban communities made a list of the 25 safest cities in Ohio.
The Queen City came in 21st on SafeHome's list, topped by Dublin in Central Ohio.
Two local communities ranked in the top 10: Oxford (Miami) at No. 3 and West Chester Township at No. 10.
Other communities rounding out the top 20:
- Fairfield at No. 11
- Clermont County's Union Township at No. 12
- Colerain Township at No. 14
Middletown and Hamilton in Butler County rounded out the list at 24th and 25th.
SafeHome only considered cities with more than 42,000 residents combined with a "safety score" compiled from FBI crime statistics and rates as well as demographics including median income and education level.
