Police nab Delhi bank robber in Kentucky

DELHI TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Delhi Township Police managed to track down a bank robbery suspect to his home in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

The robbery happened at about 2:40 p.m. on Thursday at PNC Bank on Delhi Road, according to police.

Police coordinated with local officials and the FBI to find James Taylor and executed a search of his residence on Saturday.

Taylor, 58, was taken into custody without incident and awaits extradition to Hamilton County on the charges of Aggravated Robbery.

Police said Taylor approached the teller, presented a note, demanded money and displayed a black firearm.  

He was wearing a black 'Columbia' vest with long sleeves underneath, blue jeans and dark gym shoes.

He disguised himself with a "dry wall mask" and white hat and fled the robbery on a blue bike.
