COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A Colerain man has been arrested after authorities say he killed two of his own dogs this past Saturday.

Police said it began as a dispute between neighbors on the 2700 block of W. Galbraith Road. They said a woman who lives near the man told them he came up and assaulted her before returning to his home and proceeding to kill two of his dogs.

According to police, when they arrived at the scene, he resisted arrest and spit on officers.

The man, Jamal  David, 36, faces charges of resisting arrest, animal cruelty, assault, and assaulting an officer.

On Tuesday, a judge placed a $100,000 bond on each charge, according to police.
