A crash involving two tractor-trailer rigs in mountainous Campbell County, Tennessee still had one lane of Interstate 75 closed at mid-morning.
A Safety Department spokeswoman says one of the southbound lanes is still blocked while troopers await a large wrecker to retrieve one of the trucks. Both northbound lanes are now open.
Two truckers were killed yesterday when one of the vehicles crossed the median and struck the other. Both rigs burst into flames and one of them went through a guardrail and over an embankment.
Witnesses told troopers a wheel came off the northbound truck just before the crash Tuesday afternoon.
