EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Police arrested a teenager in the shooting death of 17-year-old Gregory Thompson Jr.
Police say they have arrested a 16-year-old and charged him with murder for the Evanston shooting that left Thompson dead.
The shooting happened around 6:45 p.m. on March 2 on the 3300 block of Wabash Avenue, near Hewitt.

The Purcell Marian principal said in a message on YouTube Sunday that Thompson was a junior at his school.
"Greg's only been with us a year, he transferred in this year, and he has a huge friend base, a very positive friend base. He also has made some very positive and lasting relationships with teachers and staff," Andy Farsing said.
Police are still investigating this as a homicide and anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
