A summer long effort to curb violence by hunting Louisville's most violent offenders has resulted in 95 arrests by police.
Police are investigating 50 homicides in the city so far this year.
The metro police department's Violent Crimes Task Force made the arrests from June Fifth until August 27th and cleared 512 cases. Of those arrested, 76 face felony charges.
The task force consisted of 14 Louisville officers, members of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and probation and parole officials.
