Ford and Toyota Announce Recall

Ford and Toyota are calling back five million trucks and SUVs.

Ford is recalling four million SUVs and light trucks due to the fear that the cruise control switches could ignite an engine fire.

The models include 1994 to 2002 Ford F-150 pickup trucks and Expeditions, Lincoln Navigator and Ford Broncos.

Toyota is calling back one million trucks and SUVs because of power steering problems.  The Toyota models are the 1989 through 1998 4-Runners, compact pickups, and the T-100 trucks.

Both Toyota and Ford say they will send owners recall notices.
