CORRYVILLE, OH (FOX19) - A woman has died after being hit by a vehicle Monday morning in Corryville, a coroner's report says.
Cincinnati Police District Four officers responded to the intersection of Eden Avenue and East Martin Luther King Drive for a report of a pedestrian hit around 10:10 a.m. Monday.
Police say Kueie Mu, 68, had the right of way and was walking in the crosswalk when she was hit by a vehicle. They say Mu suffered 'possibly life-threatening' injuries to her head.
Mu was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where she remains in critical condition, police say.
Police say the driver who hit the woman stayed at the scene after the accident and is cooperating with police. Neither speed, nor impairment are factors in this crash.
The accident caused police to shutdown the intersections of Eden Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive. MLK Drive was then shutdown near Short Vine for easatbound traffic and near Highland Avenue for westbound traffic while police were on the scene.
