Replica Columbus Ship Lands In Tri-State

A replica of one of the trio of ships used by early explorer Christopher Columbus has landed in the Tri-State.  The Nina is welcoming visitors down to Mike Fink's on Covington Landing.

The handbuilt caravel gives people a view of what life might have been like onboard while sailing to the New World.  It was used in the film '1492' and has been called the most historically correct Columbus ship ever built.

The ship will remain at Covington Landing until September 19.  Visitors can tour the ship for an admission $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for seniors, $3.00 for children over 4.
