Children Found In Cages

WAKEMAN, Ohio (AP) - Officials say eleven children were found locked in cages with alarms in a north Ohio home. The children are between the ages of one and 14.

Officials say they were caged in the walls of a house outside the tiny town of Wakeman, about 50 miles west of Cleveland. Huron County sheriff's officials say they had no blankets or pillows.

No charges have been filed against parents Sharen and Mike Gravelle. They are the adoptive and foster parents of all eleven children.

The children were placed in four foster homes during a shelter care hearing today. The prosecutor says he is reviewing the case and looking into charges of neglect and abuse.
