Winfrey, Angelou Offer Words of Wisdom

Oprah Winfrey's message to some young people in Dayton Monday night was that there are "no limitations" to what they can do.

The talkshow host and her friend, the poet Maya Angelou, offered words of inspiration at a soldout fundraiser for the city's historic Wright-Dunbar Business Village.

Angelou told the children in the audience, "You are the best we have."

The visit was Angelou's idea. She was in Dayton last November on behalf of a literacy program and decided to return to the city with her friend, the television star.

Winfrey said they both share the spirit of Bessie Coleman, the world's first licensed black pilot, who will be inducted next year into the Aviation Hall of Fame at the US Air Force Museum in Dayton.
