ATLANTA (FOX19) -
Current free agent and infamous former Cincinnati Bengal Adam 'Pacman' Jones is back in the headlines. TMZ Sports obtained video of Jones fighting an employee at the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta Airport Wednesday.
In the video, Jones can be seen throwing punches after he is confronted by the airport employee wearing an orange vest.
Cincinnati Enquirer sports columnist Paul Daugherty joined the Rob Williams Anytime podcast to discuss the footage, and how some characteristics that have made Jones a successful NFL player have cost him off the field:
TMZ says the employee, Frank Ragin, made a gesture toward the former Bengal as he was walking through the airport. Ragin was arrested after the brawl, TMZ said. Police said Ragin was the instigator and Pacman was defending himself.
Not only was Jones not arrested, but in the video, he also got the last punch in, knocking Ragin to the ground before the fight was broken up. A crowd of onlookers can be seen and heard in Terminal B of Atlanta's international airport watching the throw-down.
This is not the first time the NFL star made headlines off the field. In January of 2017, Jones was arrested after Cincinnati police say he assaulted a security guard in front of the Millennium Hotel. Jones was also charged with harassment with a bodily fluid after police say he spit on a jail nurse.
The Cincinnati Bengals opted not to pick up Jones' option for the 2018 season in March making him a free agent.
