HAVING AUDIO DIFFICULTIES WHILE WATCHING FOX19?
If you are having audio difficulties, specifically a loud tone, you probably have either your TV or VCR “SAP” Channel activated.
WHAT IS "SAP?"
“SAP” stands for Secondary Audio Programming. This channel is often used for Spanish language or audio description for the sight impaired. When the system is not in use, it can generate a loud, low tone.
HOW DO I MAKE THE TONE GO AWAY?
To disable this tone, go to the audio menu on your TV and select MTS Stereo or Mono, do not select SAP. If your signal runs through your VCR, be sure to also select Stereo or Mono on your VCR as well.
STILL HAVING AUDIO TROUBLE?
If you would like to discuss your technical difficulties with a FOX19 Maintenance Engineer, please call 513-421-1919 and ask for Engineering.
