ROCKVILLE, Ind. (AP) - The Parke County Sheriff says a man charged in the slayings of his wife and two stepdaughters in western Indiana has been arrested in Minnesota.
Sheriff Charles Bollinger says 35-year-old Chad Cottrell was apprehended today in Todd County in central Minnesota following a pursuit by local police there.
Earlier today, an arrest warrant was issued charging Cottrell with three counts of murder in the deaths of 29-year-old Trisha Cottrell and her two daughters - 12-year-old Brittany Williams and 10-year-old Victoria Williams.
Authorities also said today that a child survived the weekend attack at the house near Rockville. Investigators have released no details about the child, who was not harmed.
