The Cincinnati Bengals have announced that cornerback Reggie Myles has been waived from the team.
Myles, a fourth year player from the University of Alabama, had played in all ten of the regular season games and had seven special teams tackles.
Myles was involved in a locker room altercation with defensive lineman Carl Powell during an open media session. Powell according to witnesses body slammed Myles in an office and Myles in turn picked up a helmet and moved to Powell when the fight was broken up.
Head Coach Marvin Lewis had no comment on the confrontation and, according to the Bengals' website, offered no comment concerning the reasons why Myles was waived.
