(CINCINNATI) -- Strong storms could roll through the area this evening following a day of near record warmth and winds gusting up to 45 miles per hour.
A wind advisory is in effect until 6PM this evening.
Winds may have played a part in knocking down limbs onto area roadways and powerlines this afternoon. Cineregy reported about 1,100 customers without power at 11:30 Monday morning.
The record high temperature for the day was 70 degrees set in 1909. Todays temperature is expected to reach or exceed 70 degrees.
Scatter showers are expected throughout the day with thunderstorms this evening.
Tuesday's weather is expected to be cloudy and cooler with temperatures in the 40's.
