Kona Woked Vegetable Salad


2.5oz tofu - cubed

2oz vegetable oil

2oz red pepper - julienne

2oz green pepper - julienne

2oz asparagus - julienne

3oz red cabbage - julienne

1oz peanuts

2oz carrots - julienne

2oz shitake mushrooms - julienne

3oz hoisin sauce

pinch of crushed red pepper

3oz romain & iceburg lettuce - chopped

topped with white and black sesame seeds


Heat oil in saute pan add tofu, nuts, and veg. saute for 3-4 minutes to al dente, add hoisin sauce, toss till coated. serve over crisp lettuce, garnish with sesame seeds.


Kona hoisin sauce


1 cup hoisin sauce

1/2 cup rice wine vinager

1oz soy sauce

1tble crushed red pepper


Blend all thoroughly.
