Two Arrested For Stealing Construction Loader

Two Walton, Kentucky men were arrested last night for trying to steal a piece of construction equipment from a elementary school construction zone.

Boone County Deputies arrested Darrick Anglin, 20, and Roscoe Lohr, 19, both of Walton for Theft by unlawful taking which is a felony. The two apparently left the site with a skid steer loader which police say is similar to a Bobcat tractor.

Two detectives from the Boone County Sheriff's Department say the two appeared somewhat amateurish by their attempts to try to steal two other such pieces of equipment.

The detectives, Bruce McVay and Tim Adams, live near the school and were surprised when neighbors of the school didn't call police to alert them of the attempts.
