City, Owensby Family Settles Lawsuit

The city of Cincinnati has reached a multi-million dollar settlement with the family of a man who died in police custody.

The city will reportedly pay $6.5 million dollars to the family and attorneys of Roger Owensby.  Owensby died in police custody, in 2000, after being arrested during a drug investigation. Officers Robert Jorg and Patrick Caton were both cleared of criminal charges in his death.

We'll have reaction about the settle, from Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory, tonight after the game.
