Hooray! A Milestone!
But... Dr. Pratha Atluri at the Medical Weight Management Center in Montgomery now wants to start weaning me off the protein shakes (and one small meal a day) and start me eating more real food.
And this has me worried.
The shakes, at least during the work week, have been easy -- no choices, no chance to make bad choices. Anyway, I'm starting slowly. One breakfast a week. I'll start with a single scrambled egg (made without butter or cheese) and maybe a slice of bacon. But just as important has been exercising like a maniac.
Former Mr. Cincinnati Jim Nichols at Club Champions in Landen keeps ratcheting up the weights while maintaining lots of reps , three times a week; and I'm still on the Nordic Track every day for at least 45 minutes.
