Asparagus Gratin


1 ½ lbs. Asparagus

½ cup swiss cheese, finely shredded

¼ cup bread crumbs

2 Tbs. butter, melted

1 Tbs. Josie'sDijon Mustard

½ tsp. Salt

¼ tsp. Pepper


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Snap off thick end of asparagus and discard.

Simmer asparagus in boiling water about two minutes, until crisp tender.

Drain and place in baking dish.

In medium bowl, mix together swiss cheese, bread crumbs, butter, mustard, salt and pepper.  Sprinkle over asparagus.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
