Teen Charged With Vehicular Homicide After He Turns Himself In To Police

A Forest Park teen turns himself in to police and is now facing vehicular homicide charges after victim in the Glendale crash died a day later.

Police say that 19-year-old Lorenzo Jenkins, who turned himself in to police on Thursday, has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, two counts of Aggravated Vehicular Assault, two counts of Leaving the Scene of an Accident and one count of Falsification.

Jenkins was the driver of the car that crashed on June 29th at State Route 4 and Congress Avenue. His passenger, 19-year-old Joshua Jackson, a passenger in the car, died the next day as a result of the injuries he suffered in the crash.

As of this morning, Jenkins was being held on a 140-thousand dollar bond.
