Person To Spend More Than 30 Years In Prison For Shooting Cop

Convicted of shooting a Cincinnati Police officer, Dante Person will now spend 33 and-a-half years in prison.

Person was sentenced this morning in Judge Beth Meyers' court.  He was convicted on two counts of felonious assault when, police said, he shot officer Christina Holtmann during a traffic stop in Bond Hill in January.

Person had initially been charged with attempted murder, a charge that his attorney Ken Lawson was adamant about getting reduced during the trial.
